IA for the Picower Institute for Learning and Memory

I defined the information architecture for the Picower Institute at MIT’s new site, working with Soltze Design. I held workshops with stakeholders to define key user scenarios and content needed to support donors, the scientific community, the media and job applicants.

A primary goal for the site was to help people find out what is happening at the Institute and who is doing what, based on user interests. This led to the design of a system for tagged data and a UI that consistently provides context and connections between people, topics and activities.
